Thirty years of taking new technology mainstream.

Trained Brains is led by Tony Taylor. The job has always been the same: take technology that works in the lab and make it work in the business, then stay until the team runs it on its own.

Why Trained Brains

The technology works. Adoption is the hard part.

Every major technology arrives before its market is ready. Streaming video did. Video over IP did. AI agents do now. Most businesses have tried AI, and few have it doing real work every day, because the gap is rarely the model. It is the wiring, the guardrails, the training and the follow-through.

Tony has spent his career in that gap, between engineers who build something new and the customers who have to trust it with real work. Trained Brains applies the same playbook to AI agents: one role, one measurable outcome, proved in shadow mode, and supported after go-live.

Working with us

Small on purpose. Built to outlast us.

Buyers rightly ask what happens if a small firm disappears. Our answer is built into how every Brain is delivered.

You work with the builderThe person who maps your role is the person who builds it and supports it. No hand-off to a junior team after the sale.
Nothing runs on our serversYour Brain runs on hardware you own, with your data and credentials on it. If we stopped tomorrow, it would keep working.
Standard tools, written downEvery Brain is built on standard tools (n8n, Claude and the Model Context Protocol) and ships with a runbook, so any experienced automation engineer can pick it up.
We stay for adoptionShadow mode, training and monthly reports are part of the work, not extras. A Brain is finished when your team runs it, not when the demo works.
